Hot, Not, Not

I'm going to pretend that it's not been this long since I last posted, just
humor me OK?

There is a few things that have stirred my urge to put up a post and like it or not I'm going to write it. And like it or not you are going to read it, and after that we are going to go our separate ways... capiche?

- Erik Seidel: Could any one human be running any better right now? (psst the answer is NO)

1st NBC National Heads-Up Championship 2011, Las Vegas 25k HU NL
1st 2011 L.A. Poker Classic, Los Angeles 25.1k NL
5th 2011 L.A. Poker Classic, Los Angeles 5.1k HU NL
1st 2011 Aussie Millions Poker Championship, Melbourne 250k NL
3rd 2011 Aussie Millions Poker Championship, Melbourne 100k NL
4th PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Paradise Island 25k NL
3rd PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Paradise Island 5k NL 6-max

It's kinda scary how hot he is right now, I'm certain it's all due to the fact that his blood has secretly been replaced with Tiger Blood. Oh yeah it's MARCH he must be feeling the pressure of making the last nine months of the year count. Some would like to look back & count those victories as a career for Erik it's the first three months of 2011. "Sick" as the kids say, yeah whatever I'm out of touch.

- NFL bans players from participating in charity poker events. What?!? At a time when the NFL could use some good PR while grappling with the possibility of not having a season. This is beyond ignorant. I understand the idea that the NFL would not like to be associated with gambling, but the popularity of the NFL is built on the backs of gamblers. How about a covert thanks?

- HSP and Norm MacDonald: This reeks, and I do mean reeks of a "suit" running with a boardroom idea. You know when you have been awake for a really long time and a "genius" idea strikes you? Dashing furiously jot it down only to come back a day later and think "This is possibly the worst idea ever." The best thing about the HSP commentary? Kara Scott and we don't get near enough of her per episode.

Whew I'm spent that should hold you for a few months.
